Cape Fear Historical Dance, based in Fayetteville, NC, is a non-profit group dedicated to preserving and promoting historical dance. We foster community engagement through performances and events.

​Join us at a local regency ball, or one of our free monthly workshops, where you and a partner can master the formations of the 'Virginia Reel' or the 'College Hornpipe.'  Dances such as these (English Country dances and those of the like) are easy to learn, and will transport you straight into a Jane Austen memoir, and allow you to appreciate and partake in the festive delights that have made (and continue to make) them timeless. Cape Fear Heritage Dance cordially welcomes participants of any skill level to participate, as our joy comes from the preservation of beautiful dances, and the precious opportunities to learn and enjoy these dances with our friends and fellow dance lovers.
